Stick & Stone Brick Oven Bakery Why do you love our bread? Do you love it for it's health benefits or just because it pleases your taste buds and satiates you? Do you love it for the nostalgia of years gone by or the expression of refinement associated with "artisan" bread? Our little bakery has received quite a bit of attention in our third year of operation. Most of has been lovely and we welcome all of our newly arrived bread lovers. Some of it has been less than savory - and all because they don't understand the nature of the health benefits associated with bread that has been fermented. Her most recent work is a beautiful book highlighting some of the stories and recipes of folks throughout the region. It's on our family's bucket list to try every recipe - and maybe even visit the places she tells about.
